Introduction

What you can build with Taken's developer tools.

Taken runs an AI agent in isolated cloud browsers. The developer platform lets your own apps and AI assistants use the same capabilities you use in the app, with the same rules.

What's available

• REST API: create browser tasks, read their real progress and results, list sessions and connected platforms, and prepare order drafts.
• MCP server: the same capabilities as tools for MCP-compatible AI assistants.
• API keys: scoped, expiring credentials you can rotate or revoke at any time.

What it can't do

• No endpoint or tool can place, approve or execute a trade. Order drafts must be reviewed and approved in the Taken app, and live execution is currently turned off.
• API calls follow your subscription: browser windows, browser hours and daily AI requests are shared with the app.
• Keys never expose passwords, browser cookies or provider credentials.
