MCP

Other MCP Clients

Generic configuration for header-capable clients.

Not yet tested: Taken hasn't verified this client end-to-end. The steps below follow the client's documented MCP setup.

Many clients (for example Cursor, VS Code and the MCP Inspector) accept a JSON configuration with a URL and headers:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "taken": {
      "url": "https://taken.trade/api/public/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer tk_XXXXXXXXXXXX_your-secret" }
    }
  }
}

Test with MCP Inspector

npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector

Choose “Streamable HTTP”, enter https://taken.trade/api/public/mcp, add the Authorization header, connect, then list tools.
